2007-2018 Chevy Silverado 5 inch Complete Rear Lowering Kit Here is where we actually moved the axle from beneath the leaf spring to on top of the leaf spring. We are forced to do it this way because GM welded the foreword spring hanger to the frame. This kit works by flipping the axle and then picking it back up by inverting the shackle hanger, allowing for a longer shackle to lift the truck. In this way we can net either a 4 or 5 inch drop, depending on which whole you use on the shackle.. Adjustable axle brackets in this kit allow you to adjust your pinion angle anywhere you need to get rid of vibration. Shocks are Not Included. DJM Recommends: Rear shock 2100 (sold each) Instructions
